What?! Steph bought a FIT?
UPDATED PICTURES AT END OF POST! 10/09/2010.
--------------------------------------------------
Hey all! I just recently signed up for the forums, and to be honest with you, just last week I didn't even know fitfreak.net existed! But after reading a few posts, I'm glad to be part of a community that seems to be helpful, not to mention proud Fit owners
So I just bought my 2008 Nighthawk Black Pearl Fit Sport on Wednesday (5 days ago), bone stock with the only dealer mod being lo-jack, fresh off the dealer lot with 27 miles on the odometer (27 miles because I had to go with the fleet dealer to pick up my car at a different location. Apparently NHBP is hard to find, so I jumped on the first one available.) This being my first japanese car, I was excited to get into the JDM scene (my cousins are really into it) since I've been in the DTM-Euro scene for nearly 5 years now.
My daily driver before, now a garage queen:
shame
less
plug!
Anyways, so what did I do with the car within the first 48 hours of ownership? I started with the modifications, hahaha.
Stock!
Within the first 24 hours, I added the following to my Fit:
Skunk2 springs.
Mugen Window Visors
15% tint rear/ 35% tint front
I was pretty satisfied with the look, and it felt much more sportier to drive than stock, but I felt I needed to do more to it! After all, if this car is going to be my hella slow daily driver, so at the very least it had to look good!
So within the next 24 hours (48 hours total), I added the following:
JDM Red H-Emblems (front/back/Fit logo off the 1.3)
JDM Smoked LED Taillights
Rota Track-R 16x7 Rims (White)
THEN I was satisfied with the look. I was happy with what it turned into the first 48 hours, but I wasn't happy when I saw that my checkbook was nearing zero Hahaha, but it was well worth the money spent! Finally, as a finishing touch to the rims (yes, I know they're CP-R replicas) I added text to them. And for those rota-haters out there, NO I didn't copy the Sprint Hart CP-Rs text exactly on the rims.
So with all the driving I've done picking up the parts and picking up friends to see the new daily driver, I've already racked up 300 miles within the first five days. Not bad, considering I want to reach the engine break-in point as soon as I can! It's hard getting onto California onramps shifting below 3500rpms, especially when you're used to driving an M3 daily
What's next? Within the next two weeks I'm planning on getting an exhaust, Spoon rear spoiler, and possibly the Mugen rear bumper spoiler. The back is still too high in my opinion, but hopefully it'll drop a little more once the springs settle.
Comments appreciated! Oh, and sorry about the low-quality pictures, I documented everything with my cameraphone. Gonna put up some nice pictures soon, haha.

Car looks great for such a short time owning it. Looks like your off to a great start.
I'm loving your Bimmer! My buddy just bought an E46 M3 Convertible. Good luck w/ the Fit and welcome to the boards!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! The M3 will always be my first love, haha, but the Fit is just as fun.
I'm actually from Claremont, CA, so you can add another Fit owner to the CA list!
Tyler? Call me stupid, but I don't get it hahaha :

Nice! From your avatar, your car's looking pretty siiick. What are you dropped on? I'm beginning to get worried about my skunk2 not settling in or getting as low as I want... Curious to see your car in person
