Def looks great. Those were my first choice in wheels, really wanted them but they were on a backorder, and I didnt want to wait for new wheels lol! Guess in a way it was a good thing since they would have rubbed for me also. Have always loved the mirror machined look. Had 2 sets of wheels with that finish in the past on other rides.

Too bad I dont have a Fit shot to add right here lol!

Thanks for all the compliments thusfar .

i figured it was your tire profile. granted, i think that konigs usually run a low +40 offset, if it was higher, you probably wouldn't rub, even if you were lowered.

any reason you are sticking with that size? looks? (don't blame ya, it does look good! i like the fat tire look, it makes up for not being lowered. )

idk I just went down to my local tire shop and looked through their catalogues. They asked if I wanted to go with the stock width at 195 or go up to a 205. I opted for the latter and figured they'd match everything up. It's not that much difference than stock. If the speedometer says I'm going 45 I'm actually going something like 44. My biggest problem is the offset as the tires sit just a bit farther than flush, if I dropped down to a 195 tire I think the rubbing would pretty much go away but the extra 5mm really seem to add something when looking from the rear that I don't wanna give up lol.

Anyone ever thought about seeing if a machine shop could mill off a few mm from the mounting point on wheels? If that could be done these 40mm offset wheels could be made to fit.

That could be one way, I could also just get some different tires, going with a stock 195/45 I don't think it would rub at all. As it is, it has stopped rubbing with one or two people in the car. Only if I have anyone bigger than my two nieces in the back will it hit on big bumps. The 70 pounds of subwoofer in the back don't help either lol.
