Getting parts off the car would be up to the insurance company? I dunno if he could just go there and get stuff off of it? I bet he could... I would PM him about it. His SN on here is Renegade.

You probably can get tiny stuff out and sneak them out. Normally, you can't take anything from the car unless you buy it back from the insurance company if they total it.

Try to sneak the rims out

After tax and shipping it's around that. But I'm a cheap-o and besides, I wanted to donate to the "I just totaled my Fit" foundation. Every penny helps.

Let me be the first to say, "That'll buff right out" Glad hes OK. Having just been in a very bad looking accident that totally destroyed the car but left me largely unhurt I can say Amen for crumple zones. I suddenly feel 1000 times better about the safety of our little cars.

Glad your brother is OK... I had to smile at how well the Fit absorbed those impacts, though. Fantastic engineering!
