Skunk2/NRG/Tony 2008 Honda Fit Beyond Sport
Hello all......
It's me again, Knowdirt. I am here to tell you all, that running these Honda Fits in the ground is impossible. I ran mine up at Kilkare Raceway, all day long and to tell you all that this thing is out standing. I went up against so many people in this event it wasn't funny. To make a long story short, I came in 3rd. Now the last event I had come in first place (for those of you that don't remember). I do know why. But for those of you that I might see up at these races, I am sorry to say, I can not tell you what the secrets are for fast laps. These are things you will need to find out on your own, and it does take time, patience, and prayer. I will tell you what took first by two sec. That was an Acura Integra pushing about 240hp. and the other guy that had taken 2nd. was an Acura RSX Type S with about 250-260hp. Now, that is nothing to be to proud of, for the simple fact, that I was one second behind the Acura RSX Type S.
They both had mods on them from hell and back, and just for us all (Fit drivers) to go and say, that we were 1-2 seconds (with 114hp) behind, and still get the gas miliage that we get, and yet knowing that I could have taken first just by fixing the small but yet heavy problem that I had......... There won't be a next time for those American "Honda" Acura's.

+ Rep for taking 3rd place against a whole bunch of other, faster cars. That is really cool that you use your Fit mainly for track days, unlike many other people out there. Your cars is really nice and so is your little dog.

Thank you to all.....
Thanks for the two guy's that figured out on Fitfreak.net on how to do the single running fog lights. I have tried to figure this out for the longest time and I just couldn't. And for the guy's that replied to this. You guy's honestly, Rock. Thanks for the comments, and about the dog, that is Max he is handicaped (Special) and I like to take him with me alot, do to the fact he can't do to much on his own.
Before I end this, I would like to say Thank you to Brian, Tony, Mike, and Tony. (Skunk2, NRG, and Jeff Wyler Honda in Florence Ky).
Forgive me you all. I am still working on the race video for youtube.com. I am not good with computers.
Don't forget to check Seat Belts, oil, air filter, radiator fluid, tire pressure, breaks, wipers, and iPods.
For traveling this summer you guy's need to check these things. Little less air pressure in the tires do to hot pavement,(about 35 front and 35 back) and tread wear should not exceed 3/32nds (say's Honda factory spec.) I say 5/32nds for traveling. Have a Great Summer.
