Don't bother buying those key casings as they won't fit the USDM sport key.

The USDM sport key has 3 buttons, not 2. Lock, Unlock and Panic.

Also, don't forget about the immobilizer. The immobilizer is imbedded into the plastic that surrounds the blade of the stock key. The ebay switchblade keys don't seem to have an immobilizer in them or the room for them (i could be wrong on the second part as there's not very many pics).

I'm assuming that Fit/Jazz outside of NA do not have immobilizers on them and that's why it's so easy to switch keys like that.

If you want a switchblade key, there's a DIY i wrote up in the Repair/Maintenance forums using the Acura TL switchblade.

If you buy the fob, i'll help you to swap the immobilizers and program the transmitter.

i believe that honda key fob posted will work. I just took apart my spare key and the panic button and be removed pretty easily. I dont know when i would EVER use it. so i wouldnt mind losing it.

Also he said he just swap over the interts of his key to the flip key. The flip key case looks like it is much larger so im sure there will be someplace to stick it. Only way to clear it up is if he can post a picture of what the guts of his key looks like and what the inside of the casing he has is. swapping insides would get rid of the need to program anything. even if he doesnt post pic i think im going to try this

If you look at my DIY post, you can see where the immobilizer is located and how it is not part of the remote transmitter. Not sure if these housings have anywhere that you can put the chip???

(i'd post the picture, but my work blocks photobucket so i can't see the pics!!)
