Wheel Well Lighting

I just installed some blue wheel well lights on my fit. I have them wired to a switch so they can turn on or off, but I also wired them into the dome light so that they turn on when I unlock the car, and then fade out when I lock it again. I will rarely use them while driving, because it's like saying "I am a badass" to the other drivers on the road. Which doesn't work in a car that does 0-60 in 12 seconds. Haha.

P.S. You may want to pause the video to let it buffer for a few seconds because it is streaming HD.

seems like it would be a pain in the butt to clean the lights and if it was lowered it would be that much more of a pain

Looks good. Good thinking wiring it to your dome light, but do they come on if you manually turn on the light, or only when it's activated from the keyless entry?

+points for using HD on Vimeo. Youtube's bullshit compression would absolutely not do that justice.

They turn on independently from my dome light, so I can use the dome without turning on the wheel lights.

You should make it flash to the beat of the music.

it's definitely my thing. I'm into the rave scene so purdy lights turn me on Is that the wheel well kit from streetglow? I'm thinking of getting that and the undercar Lightstrike kit. Good stuff man, loving it

neon or leds? I've been looking to "enhance" my car's look at night, but during the day I want to keep looking semi stock. Nice work!!
