Nerdsrock22 Picture Trail. New Wheels Page 4

Hey Guys ...Ive been floating around for about a year, but I finally got a good job. So here is the lovely story of my Fit.

In July I traded in my EP3:

and got my Fit.

and 3 days later I let my sister drive it:

right into a subway. yeah so into the body shop it went. and out came...

NHBP Headlights for free ftw.

and things stayed the same for awhile...

until today...

Vibrant flat black muffler
Enkei RPF-1s 15x7
Toyo Proxes 205/50/15s

You'll prolly notice these pics are crappy.

Thats because my DF210s haven't come in yet and my wheel gap is larger than the state of Iowa.

and I don't feel like hearing one thousand "drop that bish"s.

But as soon as they come in.

They will be up.

But thanks for looking!

I hate living here. The butt of all jokes. Iowa has to be the most made fun of state.
Nice choice on the wheels though!

Well my friends. Settle down in your comfy chairs.

So were sitting there on a Saturday, I believe it was the 14th of July. Round about lunch time. Me and my sister figure, hey, lets run up to the Subway and grab some sammichs.

Good Idea.

False.

We're driving up there and going to park and all of a sudden she's not slowing down. (I'm in the passenger seat). I'm like. wtf there is the restaurant and its getting closer. and then crash.

all of sudden im looking at two old men running around, after we crashed into their table and ruined their cold cut trios.

and so then my sis is crying so I try not to yell or anything. but officer friendly is like sir I need you to step away from the car. (i was trying to get my phone) and hes like. NO YOU CANT. and I was like. Sir: Its my effing car. Hes like:Its my car as long as its in this subway.

Aw Naw. Throwdown time.

but not really. everything worked out.

got some nhbps out of the whole thing. and a check that bought me some visors.

Sorry bout Iowa. I just threw it out there.

So did she just miss the brake pedal then?

Good to hear you got a few mods and she looks like she was repaired properly. Did you guys end up getting some Subway after?

Glad it all got put back together just right. Not making fun of your sister, but driving into buildings is more of an 80 year old person's thing, isn't it?

Dude as a fellow pissed of DF210 owner,I would advise you to return that product immediately before it pisses you off too.

Exhange it either for Skunk2s or spend a little more and get Tein S-Techs

trust me...

edit:
Just saw that you went 15's with the RPFs...in this case DEFINETLY return them. You will NOT like how it looks, esp with 15's

how does that vibrant muffler sound? i mean, in comparison to any other Fit axle-backs....

i took my muffler off last week and it went back on the same day. i couldn't take it the noise! well, the "tone" to be specific. it was too buzzy/raspy.

I've heard and seen a lot of good things about the DF210s, is this a common problem for anybody?? Not that I'm not trusting you, I've just heard so much positive.

I'm very happy with my Vibrant. Its on there with the stock 2.25 piping and I left the resonator on. Its really not too much louder than a stock K20a2 and about the same tone...no raspiness at all. I was looking for something pretty mild as its my commuter.

I personally think its sounds better than the Tanabe exhausts I've heard...at least the Youtube vids....

JHP said my springs will be shipping this week, so hopefully we can get em on and get my Nikon to work...

well probably yes. and don't worry, I've given her plenty of grief about it since things have calmed down.

She just doesn't get near the drivers seat anymore...

yeah,so did I,that's why i went with em.But then after you install it and you go to a meet where there are other lowered fit,you find yourself sitting high while supposedly the DF210s were supposed to give one of the lowest drops with springs.

Boo to DF210's,100% regretful i went with them
