Fit vs Bicycle in China...Fit lose
#21
You know, that dent in the bumper is more likely from the guy riding the bike, not the bike itself. While probable that a bicycle could hit the bumper on the Fit and do damage, (especially on the non-reinforced bumpers like we have here with our USDMs), i doubt the damage would be so broad. It would be more of a fold or crease, not a big broad circular dent (like that of a bicycle helmet..)
Not sure if that hypothesis makes anyone feel better about their car, but that was the first thing I thought of when I saw those pics.. then I read all the comments and was like.. no way that's from JUST the bicycle.

That might be an electric bike(almost like a moped). I've seen them over in asia and they're built tougher then your average bike. Look like he hit the bumper where there nothing behind it and hence it cave in.

Ughhh! Shes been poked, with an ugly stick. I didnt see you at Kami.
And BTW, that bumper can easily be kicked out. Remove the bumper, kick that ish. Done deal hit another person.

This bike definitely has some type of a motor. Look at the giant hub in the rear wheel and in the view from the front you can see it has no cross bar but instead a open space and platform to put your feet. Im sure it was traveling much faster than your usual bike speed.

Chinese bikes are made from one solid lead block. Thus american toys made in china have traces of lead because workers making them carry lead contaminants from their bikes.
kidding aside, the asian model 1.3 fit has very soft bumpers made from very soft plastics. they're cheap too. JDM front bumpers are more or less than 100US$ without the mesh though.
