More Presents for the Fit...
...Or how I learned to accept credit card bills for a greater good.
So I had a fun day yesterday with UPS - got to pick up a good deal of stuff, all of which pertains to my car. Let's just say that I'm going to be pretty busy the next couple of weeks...
Putting that cargo space to work!
As always, my faithful companion Diesel is here to help.
The first box.
Box #1 opened up, what have we here?
That eManage Ultimate there is to tune my seat rail. Obviously. It won't be used for anything else... or will it?
Gotta love the Engrish warning labels.
Another look at the eManage box.
Next up is the first prototype for the NST (NonStopTuning) Pulley.
Even as a rough prototype, this pulley has got some serious quality- it's machined from a solid billet of aluminum and maintains all of the factory dimensions while offering a 65% weight reduction. It doesn't underdrive the alternator, so it is perfect for those of us who want to get some more response from the car but don't want to have a weakened electrical system. Mike, the president of NST, flew out to deliver the pulley to me as well as work on installing it- we should be seeing the finished product very soon! Check out NST - NonStopTuning for more info!
The fun part of the eManage install. Thankfully Ben of A&J Racing was nice enough to label the wires that I need to splice to tune my tur... I mean seat rail...
If you order from A&J Racing, you'll learn something very quickly- Ben has a penchant for wrapping everything very thoroughly. Very thoroughly, indeed. I want to get a roll of this A&J tape! It's so trick haha!
A big box of packing that held...
These guys, new front sway bar endlinks!
Oh, and the Type One Racing B Max Coilover Suspension Kit! This is the nicest suspension kit I've ever come across in my years of working on cars, I'm just happy that I can finally get nice things for my car! I can't wait to get these installed and give them a proper shakedown. Nice stuff here, full Aluminum body, 46mm piston, monotube design, 30 way damping adjustment, fully adjustable ride height, the list goes on and on...
Here's another shot, you have to see these pieces in person, the quality is truly something else! If you're looking for coilovers, judging by the quality I've seen here, I wouldn't choose any other kit! Type One Racing wins.
Hmmm... Mysterious big box.
We'll leave this one for later.
That's the final teaser for now...

Volks, son I'm rocking the RPF1s!
And if you want the pulley, you're going to have to wait a little bit - we did a test fit tonight and all looks good, we should have some finished pulleys soon, along with a lot of other goodies!
Ok, so I couldn't hold out on the tease much longer -
So first up we see some shiny pipes, aluminum and steel pipes... and some boxes.
I dug around a little and found this -
Diesel is wondering to himself "Does he plan on boosting his Fit or something?"
A nice bar and plate intercooler! An intercooler for what you ask?
Well, the GT20 that I'm going to custom fit onto this guy! This is a pretty solid little manifold. It's just so... cute compared to the manifolds for the GT47, GT70 and the like that I work with at Honeywell. I imagine I'll have an easier time maneuvering these small turbo parts than with the ginormous turbo diesel parts.
Here's a nice profile shot of the manifold. A&J definitely put a nice kit together here. I can't wait to install it, but I have to get my turbo first!
Here's the aftermath of the turbo kit unpacking- lots of Auto classifieds!
So there's my first official unpacking thread - what did you guys think?
