I cannot wait to install my parts gathering up in my garage. It is going to look like a new car

I took 8 pics but this is the only clear one. Its raining and kinda cold out so the camera was fogging. I will take anouther one tomorrow when its light out and warmer.

 

Just got back from the post office and i got my LEDS from Fit of Rage. They are awesome!!! And as usual here is a pic. I gotta run to the store to get a 9V so that i can mess with them a bit before i leave for cali. No time to instal them now



There are nine LED strips in total. 8-6MM and 1-12MM. That should be enough to light the car up. Haha.

 

I'm actually flying out on the 22nd of march, you're not a tech for airports are you?

 

Hey, the LED's will NOT be as bright as they should be if you use a 9v battery. The'l still light up, but they're meant to be with 12v batteries. Good luck!

 

I like those fob stickers.... I wonder if the IMG will actually do anything?
I guess it would be cool to say I have one on my car.

 

Your flying out here Mar 22nd or your leaving here Mar 22nd? No im not an airport tech. Im in the military. Marine to be exact. I work on aircraft.

 

I dont think that the IMG will do much with a motor this size unless your gonna go FI. Even with an intake and exhaust i doubt the gains will be noticeable. I have had a few friends run similar products on there various cars and said that they ran 1 degree cooler because of it. I dont know. I figured it was worth a shot anyway.

 

Yea after i looked them over and read the directions i decided that 9V wouldnt do shit for a 12V setup. Im gonna leave them alone till i get back so i dont break them or something. haha. Thanks again.

 

i fly out on 22nd and return on 30th.

 

I have 5 strips in my car, 3 for the sills and 2 for the boot. The boot is wired directly to where the stock trunk light is. and the sills are wired into the dome light power. They seem to work fine at that voltage.

Yea i was just gonna follow Fit of Rage's DIY to instal the sills. Im doin the engine bay aswell so im not sure how many im gonna put in there yet and then go from there if i have enough for the boot. I have 9 strips so i will just have to see. I was talking about getting a battery to mess with them in my house. Not hook them up with one if thats what you meant.
