Efff UPS!
Ok so i was supposed to get my wheels today..I DONT HAVE THEM!
I woke up this morning, checked the tracking and it said "Out For delivery" from oakland which is about 25 miles from me. I was happy thinking i was going to get my wheels so i called some tire places and talked to a few people and lined something up with a dude and said ill call you when i get the wheels. All day i didnt go anywhere, i had to sign for the packages so on my Presidents day off i waited around patiently through all the bordom. Ok at 6:30pm i was pissed. checked the tracking again and it said "Will try again, no body able to sign for packages. Time 4:57pm"
AT 4:57pm we had 3 people home and i was waiting near the door wathing TV nobody EVER came. I was sooooo pissed. Called UPS, showed the frustration. Then i though...Hmmm maybe they have the wrong shipping address. Caleed again to confirm my address and they had it right. While talking to the lady she said i could just go pick it up at my local UPS base in my home town. She said someone will call me within a hour. 40 mins go bye, i get a call saying its ready for pickup get here before 8:30. I get there at 7:30, the doors are locked so we wait in the cold for 5min...The doors open we go in and the lady said she will try to find the package but it may be on the truck still..GRRR...10 mins later she comes back and says she has bad news and we cant get the package because its "In Retain" but Retain was at the same locale i was at??? So i tryed to get her to give me them and she said she cant because its a holiday??? WTF! So all in all i have to go back tomorrow!!! LAME..UPS is ***...

I know the station very well. I did the same thing so many times picking up packages as well as dropped off late.
At 7pm they close receiving area by locking doors, but you can get in by going through the truck entrance to the right and then swing left through the door into drop off/pick up area.
Sounds like they either misrouted your packages on a wrong area delivery truck or driver was too lazy to make it to your front door. They hate apartment complexes. Drivers do the signature trick to get out of it. I think UPS might even do it to fool shippers. See this way they have no late delivery issues. Shipper can request rebate on their account or what I used to do while working for my former company, a full refund! When they screw up Next Day Air delivery of multiple large packages (on Air they go by box volume rather than weight due to higher charge to you, customer!) it costs them a ton of money to make a full refund.
Bottom line, do not deal with people on the counter. If you have issues like this request to speak with a manager and keep going higher up on the food chain until you get answers.
Once they picked up very important and pricey package from my office and never got it out from the station to Oakland and eventually to its destination. They even posted on tracking system that package arrived late to the station and was drooped off by shipper (me???!!!). I would never send next day package UPS, but it was going collect per customer request.
Since I am very good with a driver, I even called her to her cell phone which I had (I was that tight with my UPS, FEDEX, DHL,... drivers). She just made it from the truck area to the counter. Together, we made station manager pull 3 managers to search through "cans"(aircraft containers). They hated it since it takes 3 manager signatures to unseal and seal each can! I retrieved a package and had it flown same day to East Coast by commercial flight and stuck UPS with a bill. They covered it!
It paid off that their own driver is a 18 year veteran and high ranking member. UPS is unionized as well, so I ended up having a union on my side as well. ROFL!
At this point, you can call them and request for the packages to be held at the station and pick them up yourself instead of waiting entire day again. Who knows if they will arrive again!
Call me if you have problems. I am goint to Anthony's to South SF to help him with his brother's Civic. I should leave by 9-9:30am and be back by early afternoon. Call me first thing in the morning if you need a ride to the station.

While i was there last night, they lady "said" i can come get them at 10am today so right at 10 im heading down there to get my wheels. But i can already imagine them saying "Already on a truck" or some sh*t like that and if that happens im raising hell. My dad got the number to the supervior and i think he called last night and let them have it. I would have but poeple dont take me serious over the phone being 16 they usualyy hang up
