I dont understand why people do that, i mean you can get a D40 without a lense for 350$, with a pretty good lense for about 430$ and ive seen some of the best pics ive EVER seen taken with a D40. I just dont really see a pic qulaity diff. between a D40 and something that costs 900+ lol

yeah D40 is the way to go for sure,

Well I did get an inexpensive dslr.... a Nikon d50 the old d40. The problem is I got two $200+ lenses and another $600+ 105mm macro lens a macro flash and all kinds of other camera crap.
Want to get a really nice lower mm straight lens or a fisheye which might put me back another $600+.

yeah fisheye lenses are really cool if you know how to take the picture

i used to have a fisheye lens.. a Peleng to be exact.. but then i sold it.. i wanna get the canon fisheye

Its a great entry level DSLR. I really love mine.
Again, my pics are edited. They dont have that much editing. What really kills the quality of my pics is when I resize then.
