Firebat666 and my Fit!

We got together on Saturday for a drive so I thought I'd post a few of the pictures we took. It's still pretty nasty out so my car is ridiculously dirty unfortunately. This is up at the Barkhamstead Reservoir in northwest CT. Any others in CT want to get together for a meet, let me or him know!

Heh alright no early morning drives. Are you guys around on the weekdays, or do you have to work? We were just trying to get a time when there wouldn't be a lot of traffic, there were a couple of cops around though. A Passat V6 blew by us on a back road doing probably over 100 at one point!

You guys know of a good place to meet? It's just gotta be fairly rural and as twisty as possible! Me and Jason (Firebat) went over to Barkhamstead and into New Hartford and Granby last time.

i work retail so no set schedule really it differs every week-- even th
ough i live in basically the middle of the state (southern middle) i dont go up north... so i wouldnt be any help in picking a place=

hold the phone!
.... it would be soooo freeaking swweeet if we could go to limerock!!!!
i usually get passes for the whole season (my whole family goes= my dad gets them free through work) its so much fun there and i always wanted to drive it - i know you can some how but just not sure really -- plus it might draw people from other states too- they dont "open" till memorial day (for races) so maybe they have stuff in the off season...? ill have to look into that too!

Whoa, get us into Limerock!! We could definitely attract Fit drivers from different states with that. That would be incredible.

I'm also in a retail-type job so my schedule differs. I'm free this week through Thursday. How bout you guys?

I've always wanted to go for a drive on route 169, though I think it's more scenic than for spirited driving. The entire west part of CT is really nice, I've been to Norfolk and Kent and have found awesome scenery and roads. Hell..maybe we can just go exploring. Most of the rural places are great.

I'm thinking we can all get together for a drive soon, and then try and find more people to go to Limerock when it gets a bit warmer. OR we could try to sneak onto the track and just drive it I was looking on Google Maps and the roads in the area look great.

Maybe we could go to the Killingworth area too, I've heard route 148 is an amazing road. I was going to go there tomorrow anyways, since I'm getting my sway bar installed in the morning.

Just got my sway bar installed, but nothing exterior-wise yet. I want to get springs installed soon, probably in another week or two.

Hmm... looks liek the only thing we can do is a nighttime meet though, because of yeaman's schedule. Or we could do a meet during the day on a weekend, but that's dependent on my work schedule which comes out on Thursday. Anyone up for tonight, tomorrow night, or Wednesday night?

I'm kinda sick right now, feels like a head cold or something from working on parting my accord in the cold. I could be up for something one of these nights, I should have some new goodies, just a little exterior styling stuff that should be here this week sometime so maybe we could wait til then?

Until school starts on the 22nd I'm free sunday monday tuesday and thursdays.

Not too many places I can think of for a good drive, especially during this weather. But I would be down with doing something at some point, if we get all the cars clean too I can do some photoshoots with my digital SLR as well.
