Random day shots. I went down town off Church Street to a building that was covered in graffiti. I took pics of my Mx-6 there once. I get there to find out they tore it down.
If that wasnt enough my front lip took one for the team in Winterpark. I went down a brick road street. Road was very slim with nice houses on the sides. I love brick streets, they look good in pics. I noticed the raised manhole but didnt think anything of it. Herd a loud POP, I hit it. I was expecting the worse and was ready for a crack. Paint chipped; thats it! It was so loud. Glad my lip isnt CF.
Eww, I need camber bolts.

Be careful with Sharpening in PhotoShop or any other program.... the D40 does a lot of jpg sharpening in it already to sort of 'make up' for the image sensor it has in it. This basically means that when you sharpen it again, it can become quite messy.
My camera does basically the same thing, and it can get annoying sometimes.. lol.
Doing post-sharpening of the RAW file in the nikon software is a lot more effective... but basically, all this is to say that you don't need Photoshop just to sharpen the image... download the nikon software and play around with your RAW files more.
Oh, i also decided to play with one of your pics a bit... this is not in photoshop... i'm on my laptop at home, and it doesn't have PS on it... this is with a program called 'PhotoImpact 4.0'.... VERY old program, but it works great still.
Original
Processed, with very very minor sharpening, some brightness/contrast changes, and some saturation adjustment
Processed pic, but with sharpening similar to what PhotoShop would apply to the image
Sucks to mess with red in jpg though, cause it degrades SO badly compared to other colors.. lol.
Anyway, keep it up man! They are looking good.
