My baby is home!

Picked up my VBP 2008 LX Fit this afternoon.

I got it with the Sport spoiler, Keyless entry and 3m on the front end and mirrors.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Here's the little family and I, this will be our second car as I have a 2006 Accord as well

Finally at home

That's how I want my VBP to be but too many threats of rain and snow this weekend to wash it =(.

Well it probably won't stay shiny for long as it's sitting outside right now and we might get some snow tonight.

As soon as my turbo 1991 civic is sold I will have a nice garage space for it.

I still have my Rota gt3's in royal black with the polished lip in 15X7 with kuhmo SPT's 195/50/R15 that will fit but I am thinking 16's would probably look a bit better.

With that said, I did promise the wife I would not mod this one for the time being

after driving it for a bit you may not feel the need to mod it. I picked up my fit and had plans of driving it home and spending mass amounts of money on things, but at the moment I'm really too impressed with it to change anything

x2 all I added was 15x7 wheels, lugs and Mugen resevoir covers, the latter being an xmas gift

The only thing I would really like to have right now is the JDM factory centre console with armrest.

For the rest I love the suspension and even on the crappy all seasons handling is impressive for a car in this class.

Yeah JDM center console FTW! Its funny I seem to want nothing but cosmetics for the Fit and that completely goes against everything I did with the Mirage. Its all about creature comforts with the Fit rather than making a slow car fast in terms of the Mirage.

Plus adjustable cup holders? Who wouldn't want those. I hate my Red Bull wobbling around everywhere. It makes for very unsafe driving conditions. That crap is really sticky.

Here's a couple

The next project would have been suspension but I wanted something more daily drivable and always reliable. I was getting scared eventually I would turn up the boost and blow up the engine.

I was still driving it everyday and it needed to run and by the end I just couldn't guarantee it would.

I feel the same way about mods on the Fit, I would do springs, wheels and everything else cosmetic. Just want to make it fun and still comfortable to drive.

The the wife isn't super high maintenance and this is my car so I will mostly drive it by myself. The Accord has a mirror on driver and pass side with illumination :P

what's the going price of the jdm centre console with armrest these days and where is the best place to buy it new?

you can try www.jdmland.com they sell the jdm center armrest for $277 not sure if thats the lowest price around, but i'd say its good enough for a armrest tho.
