I have have been racing Honda's for 14 years. With the right tires a 2.2ft can happen.
With the right DRIVER under 2.0 60 foot can be done. My friend hit a 1.8 60 with his MSProtege. That car sucked.

My dad clipped a 1.78 on Firestones in his truck. Ran 11.4@122mph.

Not to get off topic but seriously guys what the hell. The thread was for fun. It also said BONE STOCK for John. John and I have been racing hondas for probly over 10 yrs each. We both know a 2.0 and below is able to be had, but I honestly DOUBT it can be with an OEM Honda Fit, especially at Orlando Spinworld. Those who aren't in FL and know the track, it is a very sloppy track. Why go then? Because it isn't unsafe or anything but it is the closest track near us and we aren't trying to break records here.

BTW we did go last night and we will post another thread about all of it. All I can say is all results were extremely improved.

My friends fathers boyfreind has a guy he knows who knows this other dude who has a drag car that does 1.1 '60 times.... so that means my Fit is TOTALLY able to get a 1.1... if ONLY i had a better driver and slicks!

What does a MazdaSpeed Proteges time have to do with a stock Honda Fits time?

LOL!

LOL that was the point, not to make fun of the Fits but to show even if they are a bit slow or whatever you can still take them out and have some fun. A lot of ppl wont even bother going ot the track if they think they will pull slow times. It's about the fun of the sport and taking pride in trying to improve your own skills.

Yeah I hear that. Hell my Mustang is slower than most cars at the track, but I still go for the experience and having fun racing. My 1/8th mile times are always in the 10.5 range, never been to a 1/4th track but it would be around the 16 second area... so there's not too much out there for me to beat. But it's fun either way. Maybe I should head out there with my friend's Fit so I can have something to beat!
