yellow and blue. but a yellow and blue engine cover would have looked silly on my car. kinda like how my red tanabe strut tower bar looks ridic. (swapping it out asap!)

I was driving my car pretty hard last night and after slamming it into third i heard what sounded like a rock inside the engine bay i was like wtf, then when i got home i discovered one of the bolts holding the engine cover on is missing, lol.

im to chicken to paint my cover for some reason. maybe one day ill get the courage to uh paint them.

your blue is a little off in color

my engine bay is pretty weak but here are the pics of my old painted cover and my new cf cover. i have some engine bay stuff on order so hopefully in a couple weeks i will have some more exciting photos.

That carbon cover looks a little to plain without the vtec on it

yea i know. i havent really figured out yet what im gonna put on there. i just got it in the mail today and i couldnt wait to figure it out so i just installed it for now. i dont really want stickers either so that kinda limits my choices. any suggestions?

Make a design in vinyl and apply it on there That way if you don't like it, you can remove it!

yea i know. ford engine enamel blue. but what can you do? it was the only high temp/plastic adhesive paint i could find. i looked forever for the right color. thats what took me so long to paint it. ive had that idea in my head for months before i painted it. oh well. close enough

The cover doesn't get hot enough to require high temp paint. I used Krylon paint from the paints section of my local hardware store for outdoor applications.

X2 is used dupli color paint

the way the cover is made is they smoothed the vtec area and the two screws so its flush all the way across. i could easily put the vtec on it but it would just be raised alot and im not sure if im gonna like that or not. i was thinking about putting my old front H emblem on there. i gotta find it though. haha
