If your asking me that question, I used the krylon paint for plastics. Then I put four coats of clear once it dried.

I am the first with i-DSI engine to paint the manifoild cover?
Well, I did not want it to strike out too much, so I went for the same color as the car. But the picture does not show it too good.

Thinking of painting the Honda letters, but not sure what color. Silver, chrome or white maybe?

Don't you think black letters on Black Amethyst Pearl color would be to dark? I'm thinking of a brighter color...
Or maybe you was replaying to someone else?

Use whatever paint you want, the higher quality you use obviously the longer it will last.

So i can use the all purpose kind and it will adhere and not flake off.
**If i used the high quality**

I used Krylon fusion paint (sunbeam yellow) then a high gloss clear over it. Don't have pics right now but I'll put some up when I get the first PRM intake prototype installed (sorry had to throw that plug in)

Yeah, its not a piece that flexes, so it won't flake and theres not usually anything floating around the engine bay to chip it either. I used VHT wrinkle red on my stock cover after I sanded the whole thing.

just make sure u clean it good and lightly sand it if you want to keep the bumpiness..wipe down and then spray with krylon for plastic or even SEM paint that you can find at automotive paint stores

I used my manifold cover as a test run for the color that I am going to paint my calipers and quite possibly my drums (probably not though). And yes, I know this color has been done before on the manifold cover, but I like to bite Ray's style. It has to get under his skin a little. J/K.
