This was actually a CF cover that I bought.
When I got the cover, I was disappointed with the weaves in the CF as there were some that were screwed up...so i had it painted instead..

Welp... took a little time (didn't have much time to work on it at a time), but my cover is on.
I wanted all the texture on the factory cover gone, so that took some time

I want to do mine now
Have to think of something original and nice looking tho. Won't get complicated because I am really fussy with a complicated paint job being perfect and I would end up spending days or weeks on it trying to make it absolutely perfect....

I really want to paint mine red, and I'm assuming Honda for most of their stuff uses the same red other than a different name? I'm contemplating buying a shitload of bottoms of Milano Red touch-up paint to color the manifold cover unless someone tells me where to buy it in a larger amount.

mnapuran what did you use to paint yours red? Is it spot-on with the Milano Red of the car? Looks great.

You can actually buy factory paint colors in the can from AutoZone or Oreilly. If you want a bit better quality (and more cost) go to an automotive paint supply company (mine locally is English Color).

And I assume the color you found is pretty close to the Fit exterior.

Thats really up to you, do you want to use cheap paint, if so then go ahead, because at the end of the day its your project...
