Finally Painted My Manifold Cover
This will have to do. It's not what I wanted but since I can't draw, I'll have to do it someday when I can draw.

Ok, I finally got around to paint my manifold cover and I used the time waiting for the paint to dry to instally the Tanabe tower bar that I bought from Squirrely ^^^
I am thinking about selling off my current wheels setup (17x7 BuddyClub P1 SF) and paint my ls meshies gold to match the cover.

Thanks dude, I hope I'll move my lazy ass soon to start working on those ls meshies.
Hey thanks for the bar!
I really like the look of it.
I've read somewhere that the tower bar will conflict with the Progress rear sway bar and I had the sway bar on couple days before I put on this tower bar. It might be just an illusion but I kinda feel the front tower bar took out a bit of the cornering ability I had with just the rear sway bar

I love the way the kevlar looks with red, I'd like to pick up a second set of intake runners and paint them with the wrinkle red to offset that more, but we'll see. Honda wants $108 for a new set alone, and it looks like the northeast wants to turn my runners a nice salty color already

Use another clearcoat! Peel it off and look for plastic adhesive and high heat types of clearcoat.

Damn thats looking pretty hot!! Do i even want to know how many coats that took you. haha. Its really shinny and very thick looking. The black makes it pop alot more imo. Lets see some pics of it on the car please.

Looks great on the car. Yea i noticed the bumps being sanded as well as many coats of paint. You put alot of time and effort into it and it shows. Nice job!!!

Used 150 grit to get the big bumps off then moved up to 800 to get it really smooth then I painted it, then used 2000 to make it super smooth and then put a final couple coats on.

If I'd been a true artist, I would have had a cat's butt end showing with the cat looking back over her shoulder (so-to-speak) with a 'c'mon big boy' look and the words "Who loves kitty?" But, I can't draw......
