car looks great ....

definitely needs a drop. it makes the rims look really small. but those are a nice set of rims you pick up. im thinking for daily driving rims...either the FNo1R or the enkei rpf1s. i like the 5zigens a bit better though.

i need a removeable steering wheel.

Yeah I am going to drop it on some GF210s since I heard that the Spoon suspension wouldn't be a good idea for the USDM Fit. Just waiting until snow melts to do it.

Since you had so many Mirages; did you ever do any mods to those?
A friend of mine had a black 93 Coupe Sedan in 2004. Evo3 kitted and stuff.

My first swapped car ever. I put a 4G63T in it. OMG that thing flew!
Small 16g, 18psi, sidemount, EPROM, and street tires the car ran a 12.7@115mph.

I was proud of that car. It had a big name on the street. He sold it due to the money he kept putting into it. He broke the trans at least once every 2 weeks. We were running the 1.8L 5speed trans.

It was pretty fast. Its still quick but not as fast as it was back then.
He built another one. It just sits though because it needs work.

P.S. That steering wheel is sick!

Mx6GT89, I did mod my rages. I had 2 97 LS Coupes. The first had KYB AGX on Sprint Springs, tie bars, I/H and HKS Carbon Ti exhaust, powerstop rotors, centerforce clutch, 8000k HID.

The second had KYB AGX, Eibach Pro Kit, front H brace, front upper and rear upper/lower tie bars, whiteline sway bar, Intrax camber bolts front and back, Evo 3 276mm front brakes and 260mm rear disc conversion, ARC Air box, OBX header, Injen exhaust, magnacor wires, 1g DSM 60mm tb, ported IM with port matched intake side of the head, ACT clutch, Revo SS and DSM shifter bearings, JDM Short bumpers front and back, JDM 1pc headlamps, 3000k McCullough HID headlights and Foglights

That guy that had your 4g, would his online name happen to be Lancerman? I know there is a guy down in Orlando with a swapped 4g and he also had an authentic evo 2. There are quite a few Mirage guys down your way so not suprised to see you at least know of them. You ever make your way over to Mirageforums when you had it?

I was sad to see the second one go but I got the Fit in place of it.

Thanks Thomas, I really like it.

Well rather than start a new thread to post pictures in I suppose I'll just stick with this one.

Just a few shots since I lowered and put the new wheels on.

16x7 40mm offset gunmetal Slips
DF210 springs

Pics taken with Nikon D40 18-55m lens P mode

Awesome looking Fit man. I love VBP.

I had a quick question.. I see you bought the car about 5 months ago. What did you pay out the door for your used 07 ? I think I have a good deal in the works and I wanted to compare to someone else. Thanks

I got raped on my buying price but its because of where I live. For some reason in Spokane, Wa and surrounding areas cars are astromonically high in price.

I paid 18,000 for mine used back with 8,000 in November. That was after talking the dealership down from 22,000. I would never have bought it but it was the only VBP sport to come through for almost the entire year. If I had gone to Seattle I likely would have paid around 16,500

Thanks for the quick response. My dealer is asking 13,9 for just about the same mileage and everything as yours in SSM .. I'm thinking I should jump on it now !

I'll continue to follow your thread man. I have an Arctic Blue Pearl RSX so I'm partial to this color style. Keep it clean !

I installed AtticusFit's HID kit yesterday. I got the 6000k kit. I also did a DIY hood riser mod in prep for summer since it gets really hot here and the touge can get pretty intense so anything to get the hot air out I figured would help.

Some will like it. I'm sure most won't. Its just one of those mods that are like that I suppose. I will post up the pics when I get off of work.

I dont think it looks that good on the Fit. James (SD_MR_FIT) has it done.
Its not too bad due to our short hood but.... IDK?

I had it done on my old Probe. Everyone thought I wrecked it.

Yeah I have got a lot of that but meh, I like it and it definitely is helping exhaust the abient air from the engine compartment cause Thursday it was decently nice here and some buddies and I hit a few of the touge runs. By the time we were done I could see the heat exiting out the hood. So, at least it is functioning as I hoped it would.

:edit: Oh and Ray, I totally remember who you are now from Mirage Performance Forums. I was looking up some threads over there and came across your 4g projector retrofit thread. Do you still have the pictures for that cause they were linked to your cardomain acct so they don't come up anymore.
