Paired with the Skunk2 short shifter kit, it's like driving a new car. Like it should have come from the factory!

What a beauty...that looks familiar, if not exactly minus 6th gear, like the mugen civic knob, or a UK civic. What a good mimic.

BTW what is countersunk? it is taller or shorter when you screw it?

Do you have a link? Do they also have higher quality metal like titanium or Al? I'm interested because I've wanted a metal sphere knob with a nice looking font. I even tried making it msyelf, but the engraving company messed up; it would've been good if they hadn't...that project costed me 110$ they offered me a re-do but I was pretty upset i was like F it.

I was hoping to see someone with the JDM Honda Shif Knob for the Fit. Here's a link from aj-racing. A&J Racing :: JDM Honda Parts :: Fit/Jazz (GD3/4) :: JDM Honda Leather Shiftknob
Wanted to find out if it felt the same as the oem one. Don't want to spend $80 if it don't....

10mm X 1.5 Thread Pitch

I wanted something nice and round and couldn't find anything I liked (that wasn't $40-100). Also, I wasn't sure metal would be ideal here in Phoenix where a shift knob sitting in the sun would burn your handprint off. I finally found this knob in the "help" accessories at Checker ($8). It comes with a few threaded adapters (all wrong) but at least it isn't pinned with allen screws. I re-threaded one of the adapters to 10mm x 1.5 and voila. This knob is almost an inch shorter than stock on the Sport. I like to wrap my fingers under the knob so I needed something to hold down the boot. An o-ring worked for a day but this shaft lock really did the trick. Both the knob and shaft lock had ugly finishes so I mounted each on my hand drill and spun them with 600 grit sandpaper (wet) till they looked like anodized aluminum. There is also a section of shrink tube on the shaft cause no one likes cold metal between their fingers at 5:30 in the morning.
