Im getting a buddy club shift/knob.. i can take some measurements of the GD shiftboot when i install it :dunno:

If you're looking to buy a tap, the size is M10X1.5. A normal HSS tap should be plenty good unless you're machining an exotic metal.

the knob on the right is countersunk allowing it to sit lower on the shifter

I'd say that's more a combo countersink in a deep counterbore.

Here is my set-up: password jdm shift knob, just a cheap ebay shift extender, and an owl shift boot that I made myself.

I just ordered a revo short shifter and cannot wait for it to come.

hello there
in my recent search for some cool additions to my car id like a different knob.

Thing is here is super hot all the time. My car spends a lot of time outside and i dont wanna get one my hand warmed up every time i park in the day. So any suggestion?

Shift Knobs - JHPUSA

Here's a bunch for you to look through. Skunk2 is fairly good for the price and weight. The Honda HOP one is nice. It'll be up to your preference though since a good few of them are similar in terms of weight. If you want something heavy, you might have to look up the individual weights.

Thnx, Ive read the entire thread but thanks to that i realized that i wont be happy with a metalic one cuz my car is outside most of the time and sun in the caribean is quite something heavy and a hot knob would be awful

The Spoon duracon isn't bad. You might also like wooden ones.
