Keep what I got or get the new fit.

I'm new to these forums so hello to all. I was wondering if I could get some opinions from everyone. I right now own a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse and I am thinking about trading it in for a 07 fit. I still owe some money on the eclipse so I was wondering if getting the fit is worth it. I will only get $2000 down payment for the car I have now. I would appreciate any input. Thanks you.

Yeah I want to get the blue one with hfp wheels and all the extra goodies for $17,000. Just curious but is that a good deal?

We all want you to have a fit here. but $2000 for a 2001 eclipse doesn't sound too great to me. It might be better to just keep what you have since it's working fine (i'm assuming), and save some money. Saving money is a big thing in my opinion. If you're big ballin' and money is nothing, then get a fit!

AT with blue stiched shift knob also blue trim on the interior. I think it has after market tint and that clear front bra thing. I'm not sure what the real name for it is.

How many miles you got on Eclipse? $2,000 does not sound good. Find another dealer... or sell your car first then buy Fit

well there giving $7500 for the eclipse but i owe $5000 on it. I want to get out of because of gas and realiablity reasons. I already have had to rebuild the tranny on it and it only 68000 miles on it.

In that case, get rid of it. You'll be much happier with the Fit. And remember, there are lots of aftermarket parts for the Fit waiting for you to modify the heck out of it.

However, it's your money. Decide for yourself.

Definately, it is not like you are upside down on the loan. You have $2k to put down so that is great. Go for it. Trust me, I have owned everything, WRX's , Eclipse, Audi TT, Porsche 356, S2000, Civic Si, Miata.....this car is very fun, well built and very practical.....

What exactly are you getting as options? $17000 sounds rather high.

Option wise it has pretty much everything that honda offers and more. It has the hfp wheels the muffler tip, blue interior trim, blue stiched shift knob, darker tint, clear bra, silver front grill, spoiler and lip kit. Is that still too much? I was just wondering since most everyone knows roughly how to spend on one.

You're probably doing alright then... just make sure they aren't charging you extra for the spoiler and body kit, since that is a standard feature on all sport models.

not bad not bad at all...heheh...trade in for a fit...lovin the new gas mileage on it and its hekka roomy...but like fitiful blue said, lots of aftermarket parts are out for it...or if you want you could always swap a K20 or K24 in there
