Pic request plus advise

I reviewed the entire vbp thread and only one had rota slips in black with not so good pics. i picked up a set and was curious to see what the look like, also they have a red lip and in the vbp thread i saw a set of wheels black with red lip on the blue and i didn't like it too well thought id paint the lip blue anyone els do this with a black rim. id put them on but thats what i need advise on. i was looking into lug nuts and realized they can get pretty pricey. i looked on ebay and around the web and found some i like but im curious to what the difference between open end and closed. i like the look of open, but wasnt sure what the dif was. also steel or aluminum. besides weight can forged aluminum hold strong. i saw some 5zigen pro racers i liked but damn they are a bit out of my range. i think im going to settle for gorillas closed end aluminum in blue, or a pair of forged aluminum in black or blue open end no name brand off ebay linked below.

thanks, I masked the wheel off and airgunned the blue, and coverd with duplicolor clearcoat, hopefully it lasts, the lip was red underneath.

nice wheels you got there. what brand of lug nuts did you get? and when you put them on did it chip paint off the nuts?

thanks fit_2_fcuk, the lugs where cheap, and will be replaced soon. I got them from the ebay link above, they looked nice up until I bolted them up. Yes the "Hard Idonized" coating stripped and I even managed to twist one when torquing them on. I'll probably go to summit this week and replace them with gorillas. You get what you pay for I guess. Or Ill keep them and save up for some rays, they are a bit cheaper than some of the nicer sets.
