What all will you be getting from Hasport? Noticed they didn't engine mount for the Fit online yet. What engine management do you plant to use?

Keep us informed. Very cool!

To: "Gil554" You are right that it is not available on their online store yet, BUT the kit is in it's final stage and awaiting mass production!

BUT there is the axles/Harness/K-Pro (Hondata)/ Jackson Racing "Swap Exhaust Manifold" ALL ARE NOT OUT YET!!!

So I would say if I do some of the work custom, maybe in one month or two. If I wait for all of the mass production products from all of these companies, then proably by the end of the year.

But I WILL definately keep everyone posted!

Even JHPUSA isn't going to get it to the customer any faster than it can be produced! Plus there is so much more needed!

Wow, you're crazy, how much time are you allocating? I would guess the downtime would be anywhere from 1-3 months if you were engineering this all from scratch. I'd suggest to wait for companies to do the valuable work even though its XXX more for the convenience.

oh God you got the engine already............I think you are going to put the Type-R one in to your Fit. By the way, I'm looking forward of your swap.

Nice to see someone putting their money where their mouth is and actually doing the swap. You've got a bit of way to go till it's done it seems, but it'll be great to see how it ends up!

Hopefully this time we get to see a proper video of a K20 swapped fit.

I'm getting sick of people where they show us like little clips but not enough to show us the whole damn thing.

Thanks for all of the praise guys! AS I've been on this Message Board before the Honda Fit's US release I made SURE that a K20 Fit was possible befre even putting down a down payment on one!

Next was waiting for Hasport to confirm it! Then Tax returns helped out if you know what I mean! Plus, I got a great deal on it from a yard in Vermont! Long drive but I saved $ and that's what counts!

To: Sy11580" : Yes I wanted a K20A type R BUT, that was twice the money of the Type S I got a hold of, SO for 20 hp and an LSD it's not worth it! I can add LSD and probably 50 HP with the MOney I saved!

I can't wait either guys!!! I feel like buying the Mount Brackets from Hasport and putting the motor in and staring at it.....*Smile*.... BUT then I would be out of driving my Fit Until it's done!

I will keep you posted, and I know that there are a few guys here on the East Coast that might be interested when I do my swap to take pics and then we'll do a DIY!

Guess you'll need a co-pilot to help get you out of those traffic stops you'll be getting!
