NOBLESSE Fit at Central Circuit

This past weekend Ichiro-san of NOBLESSE had his Fit out again racing at Central Circuit in Japan. His Fit is pretty much considered to be the fastest in Japan (using L15), even over the J's Racing, and luckily he loves posting in-car vids on his blog and HP. Here's a vid he just posted from this weekend's race. In a field of 38 cars, he came in 14th overall, 5th in his class. Keep in mind his class was Civic's and Integra's and the like, and the higher class was Skylines, Supra's, etc. All cars were running at the same time, so he was 14th overall including running against the higher class cars as well. He said himself he thought he was a bit outgunned by his competition, but he still did pretty well. Just goes to show what a Fit is capable of, and aside from losing in the straights he was right in there and then some in the curves, and even moreso than some of the bigger cars.

Here's the link to his vid: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/.../blog/4558073/

Man that Fit was crazy. Does Noblesse have a parts list of what they did to the Fit like J's Racing does? The car looked like it was cornering on rails and you could definitely tell it was faster in the bends than the other cars.

He does, but it's in Japanese. Still, you can thumb through the pics and get a good idea just the same. There are some things not listed there, like the engine work and such, but it's reasonably recent I'd say.

when they showed the pic of the pistons, why did it look like they censored out the top of the pistons?

Without getting into details, the pistons are a NOBLESSE proprietary design unique to Ichiro's shop, and part of their full tuning service for the L15. I imagine the censoring is to keep other shops from stealing the design.

I am sure the chassis and build is fully raced out.
I'd like to see better pictures of the suspension and interior.

You think we could convince the people at J's Racing to pit their Fit against the NOBLESSE Fit? Have themselves a time attack trial and an actual race. Invite any other Fits as long as they keep the stock L15A engine.

They actually ran together last month at the Tuning Sports Japan event along with the Team Kunimitsu Fit and a number of other tuned compact cars. Ichiro beat the J's car and came in 2nd to a turboed Vitz w/ ~ 168hp and a pro driver. The vid's been posted here, check it out:

Quite honestly, it's all J's Racing parts that he's using, so you could very easily duplicate it yourself if you had the cash. There's no cage or anything special done to it that I know of other than taking out the rear seat, door panels, and carpeting. In fact it still has the A/C and a navi system as it's his daily driver. I mentioned this before once, but he just drives it to the events himself, swaps the tires and muffler to his race parts, and has at it. Most of the other tuners trailer their cars in. His car is a good advert for J's suspension parts I'd say.
