Yeah the emblem is just the chrome emblem on the car colour, not a special Honda emblem with blue background. I was going to take some pics with the 17" rims, but they were rubbing wayyyyy too much because of the drop and offset, so I didn't get a chance to clean up the car with the 17's on...too bad they won't fit, it did look really really hot!

damn illusive u have the nicest NA vivid blue fit (after me of course j/k ). One thing i wanted 2 ask u about that wing, i wanted 2 get it but did u have to modify it any way's b/c i know that wing is from the 2001 fit and there was a convo about it fitting. Does it line up to the stock spoiler bolts? What about the other pegs (of the stock spoiler) do they show? if u could take more pix of that area, (top view of the hatch area) that would be totally tight!!

haha thanks Kevin! I want your CF hood! I think that might be my next mod that I want to get for my Fit!
I would take some better pics for you, but I already put some foam weatherstripping in the way so it won't help much.
As for fitment, the two farthest bolts on either side fit into the stock holes (a little tight) and require a washer and nut to secure. Other than that, there is nothing else to hold it in place. The other three mounting locations are not used, but you can add another screw to the middle if you want.
The wing sits about 3-5mm off of the back of the car, so I decided to take it off and apply I think 3/8" foam weatherstripping between the car and wing. I also shaped small pieces of the weatherstripping foam and applied it to the sides of the wing so that it sits snug against the rear window.
Overall, it was a good fit, not perfect, but good for an aftermarket wing. Some weatherstripping like I said would be recommended to prevent any lift between the wing and the car, but not a big problem.

awsome thanks for the info. Just a couple more questions (sorry) so ALL the mounting locations or holes are covered? there is no uncovered or unpainted metal anywhere? oh and i might sell my hood (after eibach meet of course) for some engine mods.

LOL but you are all the way down in Cali! Shipping will be killer!
The mounting holes that aren't used were not covered, but I cut some of that weatherstripping again and wedged it inside to prevent any water from getting in. The extra weatherstripping I lined along the length of the spoiler also helps prevent any water from getting into the tailgate as well, so it serves a dual purpose.

I love your Fit! Looks sick....with the Eibach Pro's, do those 17" Enkei's rub at all? What are the spec's on the wheel? Just curious what kind of offset etc you need to avoid rubbing with those springs.
Too bad your old pics aren't available to see from the original post, as I'm new on fitfreak.....cheers
