Just got my car lowered today

Finally get a chance to do the 2nd oil change(7500km now) & install the T1R springs I got from Ben @ A&J Racing. I really like how it looks now.

I just get to drive my car around the area for a little bit and so far it doesn't roll that crazily like before. I will take it to autocross once the season starts this year and maybe get a set of KYB shocks when it's available next spring.

nice looking drop. I'm still up in the air about the T1r springs or the Eibach prokit. but your pictures are very convincing

Tks for the comment guys.

I will go out for a drive today and see how it performs around the corner and on bumpy road, speed bumps etc.

Can't wait til it's warmer so I can put on the kosei K1/my bro's Regamaster evo. Don't wanna do it now coz it's below 0c at night & both sets of rims have 032 mounted on them for track use.

I will leave it as is actually. I was hoping the rear will be a bit higher. But it's still OKKKKKKKKKKK right now. Not really that low so it's great.

I was looking for TEIN S-tech springs. Which does the same thing, lower the front end more than the back.

I will get even more negative camber at the back if I lower it too much. I don't mind to have more neg camber up front, not at the back though. I lowered my EK civic more up front before and it rotates better.

I drove around for a little bit today. It does turns better and doesn't roll as bad as before. Went to the area that I work at and came back home. No harsh/bouncy/floating feeling. It feels very very comfortable even I have my Recaro bucket shell installed.

FYI tire pressure was set at about 34psi front & back(cold pressure, 3c outside). I will try to look for front camber bolts & get alignment done soon.

Hows the ride quality after lowering it? Is it bumpy? I was thinking of lowering the fit but I doint want to ruin the "smooth" ride..

No it isn't bumpy unless I drive over some rail road crossing or bump @ excessive speed then yeah.

Took some of the highest speed bump that I can think of yesterday. Didn't hit anything at all.

Btw I'm not running stock tires right now. I have some Kumho KW17(?) 195/55R15 snow tires. That MAY make a tiny difference on ride quality. Both that & the stock tires have soft sidewall IMO.

how much of a drop is that? I was thinking of dropping about an inch, though it is going to depend on the kit I get

I guess I will measure the ride height after work tomorrow........so u can compare with your own Fit.

Here is a couple more pix I took couple days ago. One week after the car's been lowered:

Not that good of an angle but anyway.....

If u live here in Vancouver, FYI I drove STRAIGHT pass lots of speed bumps @ Landsdowne mall's parking lot without scraping ANYTHING. I will get front camber bolts installed & alignment done by the end of this week.

nice, I was talking to the guys at G5 a couple days ago about springs and they were suggesting the Eibachs, since they were about a 1" drop, which is what I am looking for....According to A&J's website the T1R's are 35-40mm drop (1.43-1.63inches), I like your ride height, maybe I'll go for a bigger drop...did they come with free install?

Once again I am using T1R's Ver.1 springs which doesn't lower the back as much as the Ver.2 and I do like this ride height a lot at this moment.
