Honda FIT Spoon superstreet time attack.

Don't know if it's already been posted but a nice video non the less.

Check how fast it was going round the corner in comparison with that Evo.

Although I got a feeling that Evo wasn't trying.

I can't say I agree with this statement ^^.

The Spoon Fit driver was driving MUCH better from what I noticed.

As I stated, the Evo's specialty is straights... have you ever driven a car with 300+ hp? It is a completely different story than a 1900lb car with a 200hp motor in it.

The steering in the honda Fit is really sharp and there are certain things you can get away with in a FF car that you cant get away with in a car that has a 60/40 distribution of power and things like turbo lag to deal with.

We have no idea what the configuration of the evo was, if the evo had a new driver in it just learning the track, warming his tires, etc etc etc.

We just saw a test lap in the fit, there was no indication of an actual time attack going on.

I mean thats just what I had observed from the video since we want to be technical about the driving.

The fit seems to be at max power for most of the video anyway, didnt really sound like it had a k series in it at least. They're a lot louder if you've ever heard the hondata EG run before!!!

EVO's were made to be rally cars. Rally cars aren't made for going straight. They are made for going fast in all situations.

300+hp in an AWD car will outperform a 200hp FF car. The only factors that could push the FF to have an advantage would be the weight of the car and the driver. I don't recall the Spoon Fit being 200hp but I could be mistaken.

So the only way the Spoon Fit would pass it would be if

a) Evo had a crappy driver
b) Evo wasn't even competing
c) Both a&b

its obvious the EVO slowed down on the first corner, i think that evo driver was playing around. The first overtake shows how much faster that car was.

That is the real reason haha.
The Evo would probably take it, didn't look like he was trying much.
But then again the Fit driver was pretty good.

it was a cool down lap where the cars get to cool the brakes and engine and such. the the evolution would have eaten the fit alive
