So no one's really made a plug-n-play kit for this yet, have they? I'd like to add one to that blank to the left of the steering wheel, personally.

Those that have had them for a while now haven't had any troubles with tapping the wire, with or without the relay, have they?

you can use a potentiometer in place of a fixed resistor.

I just read on how to wire using the stock potentiometer. Pretty cool.

"Home Depot Ram Air"? I am afraid to ask what that is all about.

can someone do a real simple DIY version as to which
wires to tap on the 08's ECU? i looked through the entire
thread but unclear as to which wire to tap.

i want to just do a straight LED tap and use a lower
mcd.

thanks.

Any reason you can't just wire in a switch on the VTEC? Since you're in there tapping the wire for the LED, why not run a couple more to a switch so you can turn the VTEC off? That would be pretty handy for highway cruising.

Hey guys, i just finished my vtec light!!!, its awsome, i put the led to the left by the power mirror swich in the blank panel, looks great at night.

i wouldn't try putting a switch in the vtec line, when the computer commands vtec, it expects things to happen, and if they dont, your probably going to see dtc's

2 mods in one 3 days, a/c mod, and the vtec light,
good week.

yes i think that has been mentioned before, however most people do not want to remove and dissassemble, and modify the cluster, it is complicated, and is a very expensive part to replace if you screw up.

that would be cool though
