could anyone show me where is the speed sensor wire location in the Fit and what color? i think i also need the reverse parking wire for the installation as well.
Also, if i just tap into the ifnition wire, where is the best place for me to do so?

= D thanks you! i didn't know VSS stand for speed control.
what is the best way to get ignition power to power up navigation unit, can i just use the 12V right near the aux input?

Yellowblanket- From your questions, I guess you are not that famililar with Audio installation/ car accessory installation. All your questions except for the VSS signal are very basic and should be basic knowledge on any car.

I just hope your lack of experience doesn't do any permanent damage to your car!

But to answer your last question, yes the 12v accessory socket (cigerette lighter) will give you a switched 12v.

I have a Palm Treo 650 with the tomtom navigator 5 and the bluetooth GPS unit! It's nice and compact. Basically a GPS system with maps and everything for $199 istead of the $500 tag!
