Audiobahn ATB10AT installed today

I just had my Audiobahn ATB10AT 10" powered sub installed today. I got it here http://www.crutchfield.com/S-tp73DQs...0&I=037ATB10AT with free shipping. Ordered it the 8th got it the 10th...Not bad... Let me tell you. This thing sounds really really good in my car. Real clean sound and bass response and the great thing is it is flat and is a perfect fit for the Fit. Here are some pics. For those of you considering a reasonably priced audio upgrade($180) this might be what you are looking for... Enjoy the pics.

bass boost...just controls the gain.

I can take it out if I need to haul anything too! Only three plugs to remove.
!

Thanks, glad you like it. I love it...I don't want to listen to music in my house anymore...I want to sit in my FIT lay the seats down to relax mode in my garage and jam...LOL!

I know Claymore, it's about thirty pounds and that would be a helluva wack. I need to afix it somehow. I was thinking of getting large velcro from work for the bottom of it but I am not sure that will I do much in an accident. I do have the cargo cover. I think that would probably afford me some protection should the base tube become a missile hazard but then again, it may not. I will probably utilize the cargo strap piece seen in the third picture and the child seat retainer on the back of the seat to secure it in my car.

wow dude u and me are FIT BROTHERS!! i have the exact same setup in my trunk!!! lmaooooo. check it below!!

i was wondering, what wire did you hook up the amp turn-on to. i hooked it up to the purple wire b/c that gave me a current when i turned the key, but now that i turn on my headlights after about 15 minutes of driving my sub turns off and i have to turn the radio off and on again for the sub to turn back on.

Kevin, damn thats a nice looking sub you got there brother. lol. Looks good, I guess I kinda beat you to it with the picture but I was so excited about this sub that I had to show it off!! Audiobahn rocks! Is yours just sitting on the floor too unattached?

Sorry, I didn't do the install myself. i believe the wire was suppose to be blue or something but I am not positive. I might be able to find out...

I took a look at the install and the Purple wire is attached to the YELLOW/BLACK WIRE (FOR IGNITION ON), amp doesn't turn on acc mode only in the on position. That is how mine is wired and I don't have any problems with it like yours seems to be having. Here is a pick.

well actually it comes with 2 straps that u are supposed to screw to the floorboard and then it should hold it but im not abotu read 2 do that lol. i might incorporate the tie down hooks somehow. thnx for the pic ima go n change it. yeh i think i hooked up mine to the light wire b/c it only temporarily turns off when i turn my headlights on after 15 min of driving. wierd huh? lol.

I'd try using some straps with velcro that could wrap all the way around the sub. Then just wrap them through the two tie-down hooks it's next to, and it's secured! That, or maybe black bungee cords?

Looking good

neat

That looks like a perfect fit in the trunk. It probably sounds a lot better then my setup. What do the controls do? Is it just gain?

It is a perfect fit and really sounds great. I am in my thirtys and I didn't want a sub that was going to blow my hair or wake up the neigbors. Don't get me wrong it does still shake the car a bit but not to the extreme. Yes the control just adjusts the gain so you can increase/decrease the amount of bass to suit your tastes.

I looked around but they were the only one that had free shipping and they are a large reputable company. That is why I chose them...I did find the sub cheaper $149.99 but with shipping cructchfield was cheaper...

BTW. The Yellow/black wire is on all the time while the car is in the ON position . If you have your radio off the amp still remains on. I am not sure that this is a bad thing but I wish it was hooked up to the remote wire for the radio instead. If anyone knows which wire this is please post it here. Thanks .

no it sounds just fine... much better in fact than stock which is obvious I suppose. The sub is getting the signal from the rears.

oh i wired up to get signal from the front speakers.

the wire that i tapped it into is the purple wire in the back of the headunit. this wire gets signal when the car is placed in the ACC position as well as the ON position. It also turns off when u turn the radio off so everythign is nice. My amp doesn't turn off anymore like i had the previous problem. something was just being wierd. its all good now.

I just installed an Infinity Basslink in my Fit Sport. The sound is incredible and it takes very little space in the the rear. I was thinking of replacing the factory speakers, but was suprised at how good everything sounds now. I'll post some pics later on...
