Anyone put leather in yet?

ALways had leather seats in my cars until the fit....would really consider doing this - not for luxury, but for simple cleanup (Its so easy to wipe up!)

Has anyone installed leather yet? Would LOVE to see pictures....

I know leatherseats.com has Fit patterns now...and would also consider katzkins. Wanna see some pics for ideas...

Thanks!

I had a local shop make me a set of leather-like vinyl seats w/custom logos because I hate the OEM black cloth. They are magnets for dust and hair. It is as nice as leather without the cost. Most OEM leather seats are only leather on the seating surfaces anyway. Cost here US$275.00 and cut-outs for the side airbags were included.

Great Fit. But...I hate the logo. I wish they made it more subtle. I want any leather seats in my Fit to look stock.

i believe its a company car, you don't have to have the logo.

So what places do you look for custom fitting? I wanna know how to go with this thing, cuz now i'm interested.

Leather seems to expensive, but pleather I guess I'm fine since its durable and cheap, and fit ain't no lexus. 275$ is cheaper than I thought (that's liek 0.50$ more than the JDM armrest!), so it's something I'd consider.

For some the logo may be overkill but we are trying to build a brand and short of tattoos on the forehead of every employee we put a logo on everything we can!

As for fit/sizing I left it up to the shop Covers y Mas Covers. They have been doing seat covers for over 20 years. My Fit was the second they have done. The first was beige interior base with the Honda logo.

I doubt you can find any shop that will do cover for $275 here in the states.
trowpa: Any chance someone could order from them and have them ship over to states side? I would guess the installation won't be too difficult if it just cover up the existing stock seat fabric.

I saw a listing on Ebay "Buy it Now" for a set of oem style leather replacement covers. The ad stated that they were doing an inventory "reduction special" and that you could get your choice of color for only $595 for a full set of covers including headrests which matched the stock seat pattern exactly. Since I'd not yet gotten my car, I didn't give it too much thought. Incidentally, I picked up my VBP Sport 5MT about 6 hours ago, and I can't stop grinning!
