Torque Solution Shifter Bushings...?
i already have the h-fit shifter base bushings... but i saw these:
Torque Solution Shifter Bushings (Fit 2007-2008) - Modern Automotive Performance
the image shows actual shift bushings (between the rod bottom and the links or the links and the tranny arms), but the description describes shifter base bushings (the four that hold the housing to the chassis)...
does anyone know which they are?
thanks

Chris Carey is the guy who runs the show over at MAP, give them a call and I am sure he would be willing to help you out.
He's a nice guy and a good shop. Never had an issue with them.
Edit: Good timing that you would post this now... I just got an email from them, and they are having a "Tax Return Sale" good for 10% off certain manufacturers through April 15th and free shipping.
I will PM you the discount code here in a second..

^ that's kinda what i figured...
this is what threw me off:

This popular item is designed to replace the soft rubber bushing found at the anchor point of your shifter assembly. This upgraded bushing greatly improves the feel of the shifter by eliminating that spongy feel you get when changing gears. Easy to install with simple hand tools. Highly recommended when using our Short Throw Shifter.

i actually got on torque solutions' website, and they are indeed for the shifter cable bushings...

I'm in for more info, corsport sells a set for the fit too, I used to run a set on my prelude and it was a dramatic difference. I've never seen anybody run them on the fit, but if we can confirm that they fit/work. Ill be all over a set.

i'll let you know...
i already have the metal shifter housing base bushings from h-fit... so if there is any difference i should be able to tell... when i did a set of poly's for my ptgt there was a huge difference, but we shall see...

well that was quick...
got to install them late this morning...
notes:
-getting the old codder pins out is a pita... no way around it...
-the new metal bushings are thicker so you won't need the oem metal washer when you reinstall each
-you'll need to remove the battery tray and airbox to have the most room
-you'll need to remove the transverse cable clip that holds it to the tranny - not difficult but an extra step - in order to reinstall
results:
-noticeably crisper shifts... not huge, but noticeable
-unexpected = it takes a slight bit more effort to shift with the increase of weight (i liked this - similar to a slightly heavier shift knob)
final thoughts:
-not huge on its own, but a nice piece to the puzzle
-if you're trying to get all the slop out of the drivetrain (as i am) this is a cheap and worthwhile mod IN ADDITION to the shifter base bushings, clutch hardline/cdv delete, and motor/tranny mounts...

Thanks for the link to this thread! These are on my list along with the CDV delete and straight clutchline. I've already done the H Fit mounts and the Mugen short shifter, with motor/tranny mounts and these maybe ill have the feel I've been looking for!

Honestly with the Mugen, its about how you rated the bushings. Noticably different, but only one part of the puzzle, still needs more slop taken out and a better notchier feel. I also have a S2 weighted knob and a massive shift extender I machined myself lol
