Seat Covers
#43
I mentioned before that I tucked the cut edge of the seat covers under the plastic airbag-cover. However, they keep coming out as people get in and out of the car, so I've kept tucking them back in. Is there any danger of setting off the airbag by doing it? I'm using a flat, narrow piece of metal. Also, does anyone have any ideas how to prevent them frim coming out? I thought about gluing them, but I don't want to ruin the actual seats. Thanks!

Suggestions for back seat cover for two dogs?
My new Fit is set to arrive in two weeks and I'm looking to purchase a back seat cover for my two dogs (small Cairn Terriers). I've seen the canvas ones advertised on ebay for $125 but I'm wondering if there's any other suggestions or ideas out there?

About those super sweet looking JDM seat covers. Did anyone ever get them installed? if so do you have pics? or a link to them?
Also about the seat covers covering the side airbags. Couldnt you just have the side air bags disabled?
Yeah...it sounds like a bad idea...but you lose your side air bags when you switch out for racing seats anyways, so whats the diff?
Also are the JDM seat covers cloth, leather, or vinyl?
Would the seat covers be something you could put on yourself or would you need them installed by a pro?

I just cut holes in my universal seat covers where the side-airbags are, then tucked the cut edge under the plastic. I can't verify if this works, as my airbags have never deployed, but it seems like a good solution!

I just put on the Costco Coverking neoprene set - really very nice! Their "Yellow" is a bit more greenish than the color chip on the order page, but it still looks good. The overall fit, velcro, straps and clearance for all functions is OK to Good in most places. There are a few tiny spots that don't get covered. Delivery was very prompt and the price was much lower than I expected.
There was a problem using any Mac OS browser to make the order - I had to call them to confirm my order. I don't know if they have fixed this yet.

So, where did you get the seat covers below? I love them and would love to get two sets. If the price is right of course.

Hey, Has anyone tried out the Shear Comfort covers? They look like they could be good ones. They also seem to have great customer service. I have emailed Cover King with questions and they don't bother to respond.
