convex or flat broadway mirror?
1. which one do YOU think is better, a convex or a flat broadway rearview mirror?
2. which size is best for our gd3? (240mm or 300mm)
3. is there such thing as an antiglare mirror? (so that i don't have to "flick" the rearview mirror when i drive at night... the headlights of the cars behind bother me..)
4. any pics?

Actually the 270mm fits just right if you center it. As for convex or flat, I actually prefer the flat one better since the convex one has a pretty strong distortion effect to it and it may be straining your eyes. Plus you won't really see much more of anything anyway, maybe your forehead and a c-pillar.

240 flat... works well enough for me. lol i just didnt like the stock one because our back window is pretty much a rectangle and the mirror isnt, the 240 lets you see out the entire rear window which is all i was aiming for. I think with proper adjustment you can see out the whole rear with the stock mirror but i dont sit in the same position 100 percent of the time so yeaa

Broadway Blue
[QUOTE=raquino925;793769]hey, thanks .. question though. is your mirror blue for the looks or blue for the purpose of cutting glare? does the blue make what you see blue?
The blue tint is supposed to cut the UV light making it easier to see.

Does the blue tint make it darker at night and harder to see your surroundings? I heard it helps with glare but is the downside that it's harder to see?
I wish someone whose had experience with Broadway mirrors could post a Pros and Cons of the Type A, Blue Tint, Regular, Flat, Wide Angle and Convex Broadway Mirrors.
Does anyone know if the Type A causes excess glare from headlights at night?
Am I correct in assuming that it's designed for cars with tinted windows or does it work well with untinted too?

I had no clue there was more than a flat Broadway.
I've got a 300mm flat in my GD3. Sure it's a little big, but I rarely have a passenger in it. So it's ok.
The headlights from behind are a little much at night. I just flip it up, but here lately, I can barely take headlights from cars coming the other direction. So I don't do much night time driving if I can.
I do like the Broadway because of the width, so it makes it easier. I can almost see my blindspots in the Fit with it on there.
Maybe once I get the windows tinted, the headlights won't cause so much.
