Problem with MTX sub - remote?
Hey!
I purchased a MTX subwoofer and a MTX Roadthunder amp, and it has worked just fine for a couple of weeks. Yesterday i was driving, and suddenly the bass was gone. I didnt drive over a bump or anything, just flat road.
I stopped to check it out and the amp flashed (meaning there is someting wrong with the earth-cable) but i accidentally ripped out the remote cable. The lights on the amp just went off (i think it has someting to do with the remote). I tried to put the remote cable in again, but the amp dont respond. I fastened the 12V from the battery and the earth and i'm pretty sure that the 12V from the battery and the earth are fastened and working, but i cant get the amp to work.
For information, i have a Pioneer DEH-4100SD (i think) singleDIN player. And a Jazz 2007 1,4L.
Does someone know what i could try?
Sorry my english!

Yeah, i could try it.. I checked with the store where i bought the kit, and they tested the remote cable from the stereo, and they said that it was the problem. So thanks, i'll check the fuses, and i'm going to change the remote cable to see if it helps!
Thanks,
