My first sub!!

Hey everyone, I FINALLY got my first sub box!

I've got a single 8" "Digital Designs" Dual Ohm, 1500 series sub

Specs: (http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/09/woofer09_1500.asp)

Matched with a single channel MB1 Amp, which is flush-mounted into the ported sub box.

It's AWESOME!!! A friend of mine has 2x 10" alpine subs in his Integra and my single 8" is louder!

Awesome setup. I will look forward to the pics. I am impressed that you went with such a nice system your first time. Most people don't go for quality on their first system. Be very proud.

DAMN!!! your box is HUGE!

my box is:

L:14"
H:14"
W:15"

The amp is just a 1 channel amp pushing 350-450w rms. I've got it at 350 right now.

The sub specs:

Voice Coil Diameter 2.0"
Magnet Weight 120 oz
Power Handling RMS/Peak 500/1800
Suspension 55 mm
Nominal Impedance S4.0 Ohm / D4.0 Ohm
DC Resistance 3.4 Ohm

TO be totally honest, i don't know much about stereo's. I just let my cousin do his thing. He owns "Dose Audio" (www.doseaudio.com)
