Remember though, people already found out that the JDM center plates have a different curvature than the USDM models when they attempted to use them to install aftermarket headunits. So essentially you won't be able to use the plate even if you got the ACC unit and wiring sorted out.

Wow, that would be a bummer. Do you have links to these discussions? Would be good reading up on this before spending my hardly earned cash.

here's one of the threads discussing the different curvature of the center plate:

Wow, that blows. Please disregard what I posted earlier. I hope that's not the case with the center console. I just bought one from Japan. Needed the armrest.

Looks like my link doesn't work anyway. Strike 2!

JDM Jazz climate controls

Has anyone tried to fit the Jazz digital climate controls into their Fit?

I might try this and see if I can make it work.. Anyone know where I can get the Jazz wiring diagrams at?

Oh wow, I didn't know there was a digital climate control! Nice! Would it have killed Honda to throw it in as an option on usdm Fit's?

Installed new headunit the other day in my 07 fit and forgot to remove the plug from the back of the fan speed control and the guts got pulled out when I pulled the dash out. got it back together but it keeps trying to slide back out.
Does anyone know where I could buy the climate control assembly?
its just the white plastic part that includes the fan speed control, temp control, and the position control. Id like to replace the whole thing if I could.
any info would be greatly appreciated.

HA. I did the EXACT same thing when I pulled the headunit on my car too. I broke off the connector of the fan speed control completely cause I forgot to unplug it. I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I just sucked up my pride and took it to my local dealership and explained what I did. After a couple techs looked at it, they figured out what they needed to order, and about a week or two later (after the part came in), they installed it for me. Obviously, it wasn't covered under warranty.

I broke it in the middle of July last year. Temperatures never reached below 90 degrees the entire time I had zero fan speed control. No fan speed control = no fan = no air conditioning. It sucked royally.

it's not usually just the control unit, most ACC systems i've seen the guts of are totally different in many ways than the manual.

if you got a whole LHD front cut, you could do it, but even then, it would be a huge pain. it's not just the controls and another box.
