DIY: raise and tilt drivers seat
I find that I need more leg space but would like that extra leg space without sliding the seat farther away from the steering wheel.
What I did was put some washers or nut between the seat and the car on the front bolts of the seat. on the side closer to the knob i put a nut.

I also drilled a new hole for the side that is closer to the door. I used 3 washers here.

TADA!!! It may not look like that big a difference but it feels like a big difference.
