Biggest amp for kicker comp 10's
i dont know if i did a good or bad thing but i just bought a kenwood kac-9104d 1800watt max 900watt rms at 2ohm amp. is this going to fry my 2 kicker 10's? i have been told they will not blow but sound rea real good. just wana know what you think. either way the place i bought the speakers from told me i had 1 year warranty as long as they arent physically damaged they'll gimmie new ones.

you can blow your sub with a big amp or a small amp
it doesnt matter
just dont turn it up too loud/too high(i say high because what is loud to you might be quiet to some people)..and set the gains correctly and not all the way up
and you wont blow/fry your sub

by set the gains, as in plural what does that mean? i thought only the amp had a gain control. i dont listen to alot of rap but on occasion i have been known to cruise the ghetto and i need some "knock" in my trunk if you know what i mean. do you think 50% gain is ok? i really have no clue this is the most complex system ive ever owned and dont wana mess it up
do you mean matching the preamp voltage (mine is 2.5) of the headunit to the input sensitivity of the amp?
