Jl hd 800/5

"This system amplifier is an amazing feat of engineering and packaging efficiency. Inside the HD800/5’s diminutive chassis is a 500 watt subwoofer amplifier PLUS a 300 watt four-channel amplifier. This effectively matches the performance of the best-selling amplifier combination of all time (the JL Audio 500/1 and 300/4), but it does so in less than a third of the space!"

1.93" tall. Think it can fit under the front seats?

JL Audio

Sounds very nice. I might have to sell my RF amps for just one amp that does everything.

might be able to fit, if not, you can throw some washers on the seat to raise it a bit

I fit the JL Audio HD600/4 under the driver front seat. It has the same dimensions as the HD800.

You could mount it even further back (towards the rear seats). There's a bar under the seat that you have to watch out for--so it doesn't hit the amp when you move the seat all the way back.

looks awesome, did you just screw them in or did you make sure not to puncture anything? do people who sit in the back hit the amp at all?

I actually had the shop I got the amp from install it. I told them the gas tank was under the seats & left it to their expertise. And yeah, they just screwed it into the floor. I guess u just gotta make sure u use the right sized screw.

There's still enough foot room in the back and I haven't had any problems w/ folks kicking the amp.
