JCrim's kappa issue....

hello all. well i need help... im saddened. crazy problem. i have a 2008 fit sport. replaced the head unit with an alpine ida x100. and i replaced my rear speakers with Infinity Kappa 62.9I and my front speakers with Infinity Kappa 60.9cs

now here is my problem... i may have wired them "out of phase" but my problem sounds more than a phase problem

i wires the oem wires that run to the woofer (in the front) to the crossover, then ran my own wire from the crossover to the tweeter and woofer. this is all correct minding that the phase is correct. well... when i play then at first they sound great, then about 30 mins into playing, they go like distorted. one i let my car sit off and start it again, it sounds great again then back to shit. please advise.

also, one small note, when i wired these speakers, i didnt have any really audio wire around so i used some i found on my sony home theatre system. its just copper right?? no problem yes?? please help me!

Swap out the Infinity speakers with another set and see if the problem go away. If it does then it's the speakers.

kk thank you very much. i just went out and bought some MONSTER car audio cable. 16 gauge compared to the 24 ish that i was using lol. and i got the proper wiring +/- chart. so im going to do this and see what happens. im sure 99% of all sound problems is installation.
