the only thing i can think of, use super glue or crazy glu and apply on the inside of the seam, and put a stick up agaisnt it so it wont come down, leave it there for maybe 6 hours. super glu is a must [keep checking on it to make sure the glu didnt seep out, if it did, wipe it off with a wet towel in short drags, dont wanna spread it far]

How good are you with a sharp knife?

You could try shaving the dumples (bumps/dimples) off. (Pull the blade towards you, like a spoke shave tool.)

You could also try using a the edge of and expired credit card (so it won't matter if you ruin it) to try to smooth-out the dumples.

Fine emory cloth might also help you to remove the dumples.

NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, you might find you mess-up the matte apperaence of the plastic.

I'd try smoothing the dumples out with an old credit card or a piece of smooth hard wood.

Like the Beatles said, I'd "Let it be."

Let us know what you do, please.

The very little bumps along the edge. I was prying the radio out, stupidly and it dented the plastic.

BTW i am beginning to hate the soft interior plastic of the fit

why dont you try tapping it lightly with a hammer? if you use light tapping it may re-form it back to its original (or close to it) state.

a plastic hammer would work great or take a metal file and shave it down slowly and keep checking after each stroke.

that would only show the true color of the plastic.

Don't tap on it, just push on it. Use a hard flat object like a screwdriver. It will pretty much go back where it got pushed out of in the first place.

i would also push it back to shape. use cloth or something to protect the finish.

I want to thank you for that link. Found out there's a location here in Tampa and the local shop has it for $5.99 instead of the $6.99 online price! Thanks, man!
