Has anyone purchased the Zeta leather shift boot for their 2007-08 MT?
I'm considering purchasing one with the blue leather stitching, but want to make sure the boot fits in and blends in with the dark gray Fit interior and doesn't stand out as an after market product with the boot being black.

just get the T1R boot instead and no it won't blend. It's black.

i have the T1R boot too. although i would like to see a picture of the zeta boot installed with the adapter ring. I want to see if the boot sits flush with the knob.

I googled and checked out the T1R boot.

How is it better, different than the Zeta shift boot?

Does anyone have the Zeta shift boot with blue stitching?

Well the T1R boot doesnt need any modification for it to stay in place. Instead of having 6 leather tabs, the T1R boot has 6 metal tabs that go right into the mounting point for the boot.

^ problem solved. Do yourself a favor and go T1R. Best of both worlds, unless you like taking 2 hours to put a shiftboot in just to save 20 bucks...I dunno but I don't. I suppose with the economy though, you gotta think harder about what used to be a simple quick decision...

the Zeta boot is ok, you spend time making it look right. but once you get it its cool. dont know about the T1R cuz i havent got it. theres no mods for the Zeta but. but i did use hot glue to keep it down on the ring
