What speakers to buy?
Okay, need some help. I will gut it out with my stock HU and I would like to replace the 4 speakers (my fit btw is Sport). I am also not planning on putting some subs for now. I like R&B music and would like the sound to be clear with some thump. Any idea on what speakers that I want to buy?
Also what size would fit the front door and back door?
Guide me with my setup. Thanks.

X3!! except i only want to change the front two speakers as i am in a budget.. but i saw a pair of infinitis for $70 i think at BestBuy, but i think crutchfield should have better deals and more variety, but i don't know what to buy. I too enjoy R&B and some hip hop.

If you want some bass but dont want to drop money into subs and amps and all that you can get component speakers.. but upgrading your stock speakers at all will usually make the bass sound better..
the best prices i could find were on Car Audio Video - Car Subwoofers - Car Amplifiers and Speakers.. theyre cheap but good quality and ship fast..
ive never heard of MB quart or phoenix gold so i couldnt tell you..
i personally have Sony Xplod speakers in my doors and the two rear speakers and I love them..

with head unit power, i recommend these, Pioneer TS-D1602R - Pioneer 6-1/2" 260W 2-Way Coaxial Speakers
should be tons better than stock, and not as pricey, and sound decent

Unless you're going to replace the HU, save your money until you can do front, rear and HU at the same time. Also, I'd recommend an amp and subwoofer. Most end up there exentually anyway. You'll be disappointed doing a peace meal speaker replacement.
Those who tell you how much the sound has improved with just a front speaker swap are, for the most part, just trying to justify the money spent. The HU is the weak link here. It's crap...
