You ICE GURUs... I need some wiring help
Ok. So im wiring up my headunit right now. I have 2 harness coming out of my headunit. I matched up all the colors to the Scosche harness... but now I have a free Blue wire(antenna control), and a blue/white wire(system remote control)
Where do these blue wires go? there are female connectors on each of them.

Ok so I wired up the headunit harness to my scosche kit harness... on the headunit harness I have the Blue wire(antenna control), purple (reverse gear signal) which goes to the rear taillight, pink(speed signal input), black(ground) which is obvious, and the blue/white(system remote control)
On the scosche harness I have black(ground), pink(says TEL MUTE), black/white(doesnt say anything), brown(doesnt say anything), orange/black(dimmer ground), green/white(doesnt say anything).
Do i hook up speed signal input to the pink on the scosche? or does that need to be connected to the ECU? The scosche doesnt have any blue wires so where would those go? Do anything go connected to the unused wires on my scosche harness? Please help as I want to install this asap... Just want to get most everything done before it goes in! TIA!

Well the blue antenna control is probably for a power antenna, so hopefully you got the antenna adapter harness, otherwise you wont be able to hook the antenna up. If you do have that harness, thats where the blue wire from the scosche kit goes.
Not sure what the speed signal wire is, so can't help you there.
I dont recall my scosche kit having so many wires on it! Hope I helped at least a little.

tghe blue/white is an amplifier turn on wire.. no amp, no use wire..
the solid blue if for the antenna amplifier all new hondas have. Most people have been getting beter luck not hooking this wire to the antenna adapter. so up to you if you want to use it or not. If they are not in use, please tape the ends up!!!!

Chris bought a Pioneer, depending which model you hav to move a Pin on the RCA plug also to do a bypass. since the navigation will cut off at any speed over 3mph and tll you handbrake wire is impropperly connected

alright, sorry to bring up an old thread. but im stuck on 1 last thing (i'm sure its easy but this is my first time installing a stereo) and I need to call upon your guys' powers. I'm down to 5 wires (I noticed the majority of you came down to 4), the 5th one is the reverse which I have no idea where to connect to? everything else operates, just don't know what to do w/that pink wire. thanks for any input/help

The pink wire is the Vehicle speed sensor wire. The reverse wire you can run to your rear taillight, or find the wire near the Fuse box area. It is a green/black wire if I remember correctly.

Everything works already, the navi (did the speed sensor wire already), dvd (w/bypass thanks to kelsodeez), am/fm(w/reception), and cd, so I'm assuming the reverse wire is for the navi when the car goes in reverse? Do you think I would harm the navi if I just left the reverse wire off? It seems to pinpoint where I am regardless when I went to work and back today. Thanks
