okay so far we all know now how to get the radio holder (navigation piece).
what about the wire harness?
we are all still missing this. without it the navi radio piece is useless.
or am i missing something here.
are the wire harnesses for the GD's same as the GE's?

do ours have these brackets to hold the radio in like the first pic?

nope the bracket is very flimsy and not ajustable.......that has a huge bracket on the side to help......ours will only bolt up with the stock radio pretty much unless you widen the botom and adapt then side with metal brackets

Harness and Bracket are available at a Japanese Honda Dealer, or direct through the manufacturer which is AODEA.

Considering the fact that it`s 1:30 am in the morning for me and nothings "OPEN" right now You`ll have to wait untill tommorow for me to get a price for you guys... also keep in mind that the exchange rate ( yen to $ ) is really Sh!tty right now ...

I will also be being the Navi Console piece from Honda. I'll be putting my Panasonic double din from my other car in this one
Amazon.com: Panasonic CQ-VD6505U In-Dash Double-DIN 6.5-Inch Widescreen Color LCD Monitor/DVD Receiver: Electronics
that's the one I'll be putting in over the next few weeks. I'm too lazy to do it right now.

We found this page, which links to an online Japanese shopping mall. The price is 5200 yen, $55 US. The only problem is, once in the check-out, it's all Japanese and a language converter cannot be used. We found an English walkthrough of the check-out process and are ordering two kits for our cars. We'll find out soon enough! Correction, we attempted to order the kits. Wouldn't work.

Let me see what I can do.... but 55$ is cheap...then add shipping to an address in japan and thats 15$ each item ( they don`t combine shipping ) and then shipping to the states.10$ and your looking at around 80~85$ shipped...

Thanks, man. She was all set to order both, because she really wants her radio back. Me, yeah, I want mine back, but I want my subwoofer back in the most! The lack of full frequency range is killin' me. Going to try and do that sometime this week.

Just got of the phone with Metra's sales division. The part number for the wiring harness is 70-1729 and can be seen here. He said they are having difficulty setting up a dash kit for it and are not expecting to have one for a few months.
Also spoke to Scosche's sales division and was informed they are also having difficulty with the dash kit as well as wiring harness. He had a projected sales sheet in front of him with end of Nov, early Dec for a dash installation kit. Their part number is HA1708B. Their antenna adapter part number is HAAB.
So, part numbers are as follows to make things much easier for people:
Metra
Wiring harness - 70-1729
Antenna adapter - 40-HD10
Dash kit - no definite part number; looks like Metra's dash kit 99-7873 may work, but I'm not certain.
Scosche
Wiring harness - no number yet, but possibly HA11B
Antenna adapter - HAAB
Dash kit - HA1708B - end of Nov, early Dec
Update: Found a generic kit from Metra, number 99-7898 that I've determined I can use for now until a better kit comes along. I'm in the process of installing it now with an older stereo (didn't want to scratch up the new one for test purposes) and will post pics in a bit.
