Not sure if you saw this yet at the Garmin website..this should get some load of your shoulder in creating diff. colors and proper credentials can go to you as you have done the work..

We love cars as much as you do but we can’t create icons for specific car models. Apparently, it’s one of those ‘lawyer things’ that scare us a bit. So please make sure your idea is original – that way, you’ll have a better chance of seeing it show up in the Garmin Garage and we’ll have a better chance of avoiding the courtroom!

You might not want to do that. Check this disclaimer I copied from the site:

assuming you still have the usb cable that was equiped with the GPS, go to garmin.com and look for downloads for your model and go from there

is there a trick to downloading it? i clicked on the link and it just takes me to a page with a bunch of weird characters and symbols.
